Agua Azul Fire Station

During my 8th semester at ITESO University in the Infrastructure and Urban class, I developed a multifunctional fire station design for Agua Azul, a small county in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. This project demanded a thorough investigation into integrating advanced fire protection systems with architectural elements that reflect the community’s unique character. The goal was to enhance emergency services’ efficiency while honoring the cultural and aesthetic values of Agua Azul.

The design process was both challenging and rewarding, involving a balance of practical functionality and thoughtful design. The final outcome is a sophisticated structure that not only meets the county’s safety needs but also exemplifies innovative urban planning.
