Agua Azul Fire Station

Project Title: Agua Azul Fire Station
Institution: ITESO University
-
Course: Infrastructure and Urban Class
Semester: 8th Semester
During my 8th semester at ITESO University in the Infrastructure and Urban class, I developed a multifunctional fire station design for Agua Azul, a small county in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. This project required an in-depth exploration of integrating advanced fire protection systems with architectural elements that reflect the community’s unique character. The goal was to enhance emergency services’ efficiency while respecting the cultural and aesthetic values of Agua Azul.
Beyond functionality, I also experimented with my representation skills, emphasizing textures and shapes in a more playful and expressive way rather than strict realism. This approach allowed me to convey the project's essence dynamically, highlighting materiality and spatial relationships through a more artistic and engaging visual language.
